Wall-e ( Waste Allocation Load Lifter Earth-Class) is a robot who has been doing his job, cleaning up the environmental mess the humans made on earth, in complete solitude for the last 700 years. The humans are on vacation on the luxury spaceship Axiom and they send down EVE its regularly scheduled robotic probe. Wall-e is infatuated and sets about trying to impress her.
Wall-e goes down as the #3 greatest-grossing opening weekend for a Pixar film as of July 2008.
